Intuition & being Psychic has long been considered the gift… As if it is only for the extraordinary soul… Rather than the reality being that, everyone is attuned with this amazing quality…
This label of being ‘gifted’ has created so many distortions of the truth… Gifted conjures up that expectation of being special & only for the selected few…
It sort of reminds me of the show Young Sheldon… A young gifted genius who is an outcast within his world and finds difficulty connecting with others that are of not the same as himself… He is also aware of his stature of being more than above average mentally & considers himself better than others… A know it all to others… He lacks emotional intellect, but he doesn’t consider emotions to be an accurate gauge for intelligence anyway, so therefore dismisses that magnitude of developing deeper relationships through emotional intelligence…
The reason I share this example with you is because, when you link gifted to intuition or psychic ability, the same negative mental image appears within one’s mind…
Being:
♥ Above average…
♥ Better than others…
♥ Outcasted for being different…
♥ A know it all …
♥ Lacks empathy because it’s not significant &…
♥ Find it difficult to connect with others that are not the same…
This is what we directly associate to genius… Yet, when we replace one word from gifted to skill it automatically eliminates stress; here’s how…
Imagine someone saying to you that you’re gifted, what kind of emotional response is triggered???
Do you immediately repel they idea & respond by saying ‘I’m not special” like it’s a bad thing??? Does the words “gifted” make you feel pressure to live up to someone’s expectation… Or activate that “I’m not good enough” chitter chatter within yourself…
If you said ‘YES’ to any of these emotional responses, then this is my exact example of what the attachment of classifying your intuitive or psychic abilities as a gift will prompt the same precise automatic response… Therefore building beliefs that intuition or psychic is not for you… This is where that internal conflict can begin… One part desiring to delve deeper with developing this skill and another part subconsciously associated to the negative connotations mentioned above…
Yet when you understand that being intuitive or psychic is a skill, all negative connotations fall away… Because you know that a skill becomes a personal choice whether you choose to pursue it or not…
This is the power of words… Take a moment to quieten your mind and repeat these two sentence & discover your own emotional response…
First declare “my intuition is a gift”… Be open and just be open to what emerges to the surface… Now declare “my intuition is a skill”… Feel into what arises with these words…
One word can either generate negative attachment which you can totally rebel and push as far as possible away from being directly associated too, or awaken that inquisitive characteristic that loves to explore, develop, grow & harness their intuitive psychic skills… Words can access that inner most visionary women who knows deep down that there is an undeniable skill within them that is wanting you step into your personal power and claim or continues to feeds these fears & keeps you hiding or shrinking away for your soul calling???
Transformation can occur the moment you bring conscious awareness to words that either disempower you or vocabulary that supports & helps you rise into the person you are here to be… True magic can be accessed when you align yourself with words that connect with your core soul self…
