My #7 Favourite Self Care Rituals

Spiritual ascension is uplevelling you at rapid rates that it’s so easy to move into robot mode… There is so much juggling of responsibilities and challenges all at the same time that we become emotionally removed just to cope…

Not to mention that this full moon energy has activated a lot of fear that is being projected, that could quite easily drag you into drama from others…

As soulful beings many are attuned to taking care of everyone else’s needs and putting your self-care on the back burner… Also, completely disregarding that inner voice or intuitive communication reminding you of how significant and deeply needed your self-care is to your over wellbeing…

It’s time to stop this self-abuse!!!

You are so truly amazing at being there for others at a drop of a hat, yet dismiss the need to fill your cup too…The number #1 thing I have learnt over the 20+ years in the spiritual & wellness industry is the positive impact self-care has on every area of your life… Not only will you naturally benefit from feeling freakin amazing, but you’ll be a better, wife, mother, friend, carer, biz owner or employee & let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to feel divine gorgeous goddess…

Self-care is the responsibility of self

You know how detrimentally important self-care is, yet don’t always implement the actions to feel a certain way… So, I want to jog your memory and share my favourite self-care steps to wholistically nurture the wellbeing within…

#1… Mother Earth is a natural absorber of negative energy… Whether it’s a walk along the beach to feel that salt air against your skin or take a trip into the woods to be at one with nature… Mother Earth has this magical ability to release you from all stresses and remind you of the importance of being connected to self… It’s like you can go to either environment frazzled, stressed out & feeling like you on a freight train to crazy town & leave feeling more, peace & harmony on a mind, body soul & spiritual level…

#2… Fun/PlaytimeLaughter is the greatest way to deal with stress… When you’re laughing it allows you to drop out of your constant world of thought and brings you back to being present in the moment… Laughter is one of the easiest ways to access the joy & happiness… When you’re absolutely cracking up about anything, it becomes a pattern interrupt… Stress is circular… How many times have you been stressed out about one thing and before you know it, you’re stressed about everything… This is where the power of laughter can come into play… Laughing not only elevates your energy vibration but also deactivates the nervous systems from being on stress out alert… Go onto YouTube and watch funny clips, put on a comedy movie or get together with others to reminisce over the fun times shared… Believe me, you’ll feel like you just had a weekend away when you’ve had the world biggest belly laugh…

#3… Exercise & movement of any sort shifts & clears up the pent-up emotions in a totally constructive way… They key here is that usually when under immense pressure you’re less likely want to do it… As Nike’s slogan says “Just Do It” … Your whole beingness will directly benefit from this one action… Exercise & movement acts like perception adjustment… Whether you’re out pounding the pavement of stretching your body with yoga, you’re mind as the ability to obtain a new perspective… New thoughts and ideas can drop into your consciousness that you may have not explored before because energy loves momentum… When your energy levels are low, it’s harder to think outside the box and consider other options… Yet the minute you get moving, that old stuck, heavy energy diminishes & an influx of rich new energy enters bringing with it fresh thoughts & viewpoints…

#4… Bath time… OMG who doesn’t love walking into the bathroom that is set up with the gorgeous glow of scented candles, your favourite oils or magnesium in the water, beautiful body scrubs, face masks or hair masks sitting beside the bath to lather your skin with, soft music playing in the background and your favourite glass of wine all there just waiting for you to soak up this whole experience…

Taking a bath can be boring, but creating a goddess retreat experience, now that’s what I’m talking about when I think of bathes… This alone just allows all the crap to fall away & just for a short moment where nothing exists except for soaking up all this gorgeousness to reboot your energetic frequency…

#5… Here is my all time, go to favourite of them all… Tune into your intuition… The Full Moon energy amplifies your emotions… A heighten level of awareness to emotional baggage is enhanced because the beautiful Full Moon illuminates light into your darkest secrets to clear from your subconscious mind… This can be exhausting if you’re already feeling emotional depleted…

So, this is the greatest opportunity to ask yourself “what do I need to restore my wellbeing now” then tune into the guidance… Your soul will know exactly what’s needed to establish vitality, yet if you don’t ask you can’t receive the most trust assistance available to you…

Logically we can think if I do this, I’ll feel better… But this is where logic needs to be put aside and tap into your intuitive soul self… By the time you’ve become aware that your exhausted it’s because you ‘feel’ exhausted on all levels… So, let’s access how you ‘feel’ to influence the soul care you need…

#6… Journaling is a beautiful ritual to express your thoughts, feelings & emotions in a judgement free zone… You do not need to filter or be mindful of the choice of words you use, you can simply let your hands be an open channel directly to your inner world…

The powerful of act of writing your private thoughts opens a gateway to your intuition… As you write you can tap into your soul without knowing… Whenever you journal, and reread over your words, it’s amazing to see the intuitive guidance that can be revealed without you knowing…

Take a moment after writing, to reflect over your personal content and discover what mysteries & magic has come from within that is now in black & white for you to grow from…

#7… Massage is such an incredibly powerful act to deeply nourish your entire self – mind, body, soul & spirit… Massage shifts energy, rebalances your emotional wellbeing and releases any tension being stored within your physical structure… Sometimes you don’t realise how stiff your body is because you’ve just become accustomed to this type on tension…

Yet your body is designed to be that of fluidity… Being able to move freely without restrictions… When muscles are tight they naturally have a detrimental impact on your mental/emotional state of mind…

So, massage works on achieving overall wellness & who doesn’t enjoy a gorgeous massage…
